It involves creating a workload, reviewing the Reliability Pillar questions, saving the workload, taking a milestone, and examining and downloading the Well-Architected Review report.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>New to the Amazon Web Services? The AWS Well-Architected Framework documents a set of foundational questions that helps you understand how a specific architecture aligns with cloud best practices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understanding terms that we use in AWS WA tool and AWS WA Framework<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><b>Workload <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">identifies a set of components that deliver business value. They can be either simple or complex websites<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Milestones<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mark key changes in your architecture\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Lenses<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> provide a way for you to standardly measure your architectures against best practices and help to identify areas for improvement.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Getting Started with AWS Well-Architected Tool<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main sections under the WA tool are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Creating an IAM User role<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Define the Workload<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Document the Workload<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Review the improvement plan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make the improvements and measure the progress<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>1. Creating an IAM User role<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create an IAM user or use an existing one linked with your AWS account.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grant the IAM user access to AWS Well-Architected Tool.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apply the <\/span><b>WellArchitectedConsoleFullAccess<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> managed policy to the user for full access.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apply the <\/span><b>WellArchitectedConsoleReadOnlyAccess<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> managed policy to the user for read-only access.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>2.
